In this short World War II propaganda montage, the filmmakers examine the uses of hands, and how the united hands of America and her Allies will defeat the Axis.

In times of war as in times of peace, hands hold many purposes and functions.

Hands are tools with which we play musical instruments, type letters, and draft blueprints.  We play sports, take notes, and create intimacy through the interaction of hands.

And while they can be violently taken away, they can also be weapons to directly protect democracy.

Whether in battle or in defense production, it is through hands liberal democracies like WWII America knew they had to unite to “FINISH THE JOB!”
